Jackson Kathler

Born and raised on the outskirts of Kelowna, BC, Jackson grew up chasing winter at Big White and SilverStar with their freestyle ski teams. While he competed across every discipline, mogul skiing became his specialty. By the age of 15, Jackson was already giving back to the sport—transitioning from athlete to coach with the Big White Freestyle Team.

After high school, Jackson followed his passion for the mountains into an Emergency Rescue and Outdoor Leadership program, where he discovered a love for backcountry and freeride skiing. When he wasn’t in class, he was exploring the rugged terrain of the Coquihalla Mountains and honing his mountain sense.

He spent a couple seasons on ski patrol at Manning Park before heading to Red Mountain in 2023. Now, Jackson’s all about blending his freestyle roots with freeride flow — coaching athletes to charge hard, stay smart, and have an unreal time doing it.
