2024 Mountain Bike Recipients

Josh Gloster - Blue Mountain, ON

Josh is an absolutely dedicated, determined mountain biker that is driven to make things happen on his bike. "Mountain Biking is my passion and it is my dream to make a career out of riding and racing bikes around the globe. I love mountain biking for the sense of creativity it brings me. When I'm out on the trails it's a new way to express myself that I don't get to do anywhere else. And it is the greatest feeling to me".

One thing we really love about Josh is that he has clear goals & objectives. Two years ago at the young age of 14, Josh won the U18 Ontario Enduro Series Championship. Last year he couldn't compete as much with the high cost of living and being consumed with work. This year however, he's doing everything he can to regain the title and find himself back on top of the podium. Josh is also stoked to give back to the younger generation by coaching at Rad Adventures - a program that showed him where he could take his riding and now wants to pass that inspiration on to the up and coming riders.

"GIVE'R to me is a mindset. It is about giving 100% effort into all aspects of life. Whether it be your job, school, training or on the bike performance, it is about leaving all distractions behind you and chasing your goals. In 2024 this is something I want to live by and with your help can pursue my passion.” @joshgloster_

"I love mountain biking because I love the speed, adrenaline, competition, the friends I make through it. I love the hard work it takes, I love being outdoors in nature, staying in shape and how it makes me feel when I'm out there shredding. I just want to be doing it all the time".

Some of Hunter's top results include: 2nd overall in Ontario for cross country in 2023, 4th overall in cyclocross. Gold in 3 of 4 O-Cups and the won MVP of his School MTB Team. He also won gold with his team in the Summer & Fall 8hr. Epic races, Gold in the Slalom event, Silver in Downhill and Bronze in Air Downhill Crankworx events at Horseshoe Resort. And the list goes on!
